Dr. Cotter received his specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa. He received his training in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. He returned home in 1997, and commenced in Private Practice, and also helped to establish the Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology service in the Dublin Dental Hospital.
Dr. Cotter provides all aspects of Prosthodontic care including crowns, bridges, implants, cosmetic care. He also has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine, providing care for patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and problematic snoring. He provides Maxillofacial Prosthetic support to the the Head and Neck Cancer teams in St James, Beaumont, St. Vincents, Mater and South Infirmary Cork. Edward works as part of a multi-specialty dental practice in Hermitage Clinic and Clyde Road, Ballsbridge.
