Dr McCreery is a clinical specialist in Dietetics and Human Nutrition.
After graduating in 1980, she was the first sports nutritionist to be appointed to the Irish Olympic team and the Irish rugby team.
She then went on to do her PhD at Trinity College Dublin. This was followed by a Dip in counselling and psychotherapy, also at Trinity College Dublin.
She was the first dietician to set up a full-time private practice when Blackrock Clinic opened in 1985. Since then, she has become one of Ireland's most recognised Dietitians. She has state registration with Coru.
