Dr. Ross Murphy

Professor Ross Murphy MD, MSc, FRCPI, is a graduate of RCSI (1993). He trained in Dublin, at Beaumont and St James Hospital, at St Georges Hospital, London, The Heart Hospital, London and at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. He has been a Consultant Cardiologist at St. James Hospital, Dublin and the Blackrock Clinic since 2006 and is a Clinical Associate Professor at TCD. His special interests include cardiac imaging and valve disease, Cardiac CT, and his research interests include the genetics of cardiomyopathy, newer echo modalities, and the vascular biology of coronary plaque.
