Dr Theodore Murphy studied medicine at University College Dublin and graduated with honours. After graduating he completed his Royal College of Physicians Ireland Specialist cardiology training in Ireland.
He was awarded a scholarship from the Irish Cardiac Society to complete his training with a fellowship in London. He sub-specialised in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Cardio-oncology and Heart Failure at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London and the Royal Brompton Hospital London.
Dr Murphy has a Level 3 accreditation through the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
In recognition of his training, he has received Board Certification in Cardio-oncology from the International Cardio-oncology Society.
Dr Murphy’s interests include general cardiology, heart failure, cardiac imaging and cardio-oncology.
