Mr. Eamon Francis

Mr Francis is a Consultant Plastic , Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon who graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2010 with an honours degree and the Seton-Pringle and Arthur Ball prizes in Surgery. He completed his internship in St James Hospital, followed by his Basic Surgical training in Dublin, and subsequently finished his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2021. 

He was awarded the “Colles” Medal by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, the Dr Richard Steevens Fellowship award by the HSE and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Fellowship award.

He undertook an International Clinical Reconstructive Microsurgical fellowship in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, where he also completed a Master’s degree in Microsurgery. Consequently he completed a second fellowship in Clinical Reconstructive Microsurgery in Newcastle upon Tyne hospitals Trust, United Kingdom.

He was a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Guys and St Thomas Trust in London, the United Kingdom, before returning to his post in St James University Hospital in Dublin.
