Mr. Robertson is a consultant general/vascular and transplant surgeon practising at the Hermitage Clinic and Beaumont Hospital. He specialises in general vascular surgery, including endovenous management of varicose veins, hernia repair and minor surgery.
MB BCh BAO MCh FRCS Ian studied medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed the Irish higher surgical training programme in general/vascular surgery, also at RCSI. He has a research masters degree in surgery which was conferred by RCSI in 2010.
Living donor renal transplantation. Haemodialysis access. Patient outcomes following solid organ transplantation.
Ian undertook his fellowship training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia in 2017. He spent 18 months at this leading centre focusing on renal transplantation and vascular surgery.
