Professor Karl Boyle is a Consultant Geriatrician & Stroke Physician and RCSI Honorary Clinical Associate Professor. He completed postgraduate training in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in Ireland before further international subspecialty training in stroke medicine and dementia.
He has extensive international clinical experience working previously as a stroke neurologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada and as a Consultant Stroke Physician at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, England.
He has a particular interest in brain health with a focus on early diagnosis of cognitive impairment.
