Prof. Martin Quinn has been a Consultant Cardiologist since 2003. He has an interest in general cardiology and coronary and structural heart intervention including percutaneous valve therapies. He co-founded and is chief medical officer of CroiValve, which is developing a percutaneous treatment for tricuspid valve disease.
Martin graduated in medicine from UCD in 1992. He trained in cardiology in St James's, St Vincents and The Cleveland Clinic Ohio, USA
Martin was awarded a PhD for his research on Platelet Biology and has published extensively on the subject. His current research focuses on percutaneous treatment of tricuspid valve disease. He has filed and has been granted a number of patents in this area.
Martin trained in interventional cardiology at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA.
