Prof. William Joyce is a General Colorectal and Vascular Surgeon, fully trained and accredited. With over 25 years in independent surgical practice, he is the director of RCSI medical undergraduate teaching and intern tutor and currently has an active clinical research program.
MB,BCH,BAO university of Galway 1980 . FRCSI and FRCSEd and a Higher Surgical Training (CSST) in Ireland. I also have an MCh from the University of Galway and am a fellow of the American College of Surgeons FACS.
I have an active clinical research programme at the Galway Clinic involving medical students, interns and residents alike. I continue to publish and have personally on 90 publications in worldwide peer-reviewed journals.
Following training included a fellowship at the University of Toronto.
