Ms. Camilla Reilly

Camilla graduated from Keele University, Staffordshire, England in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She briefly worked in Waterford Regional Hospital and James Connolly Memorial Hospital on qualification. She joined the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in September 200 as a Senior Physiotherapist in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Heart and Lung transplantation and Intensive Critical Care for over 6 years, as well as the position of Acting Deputy Physiotherapy Manager for a period of 10 months, in charge of the organisational management services of a team of over 40 staff. 
Camilla has presented at numerous study days and Allied Health Professional meetings and was actively involved in the establishment of the ISCP sub-group in Cardiac Care in 2006. Post graduate education includes continual professional development in management and clinical skills, as well as a diploma in Healthcare Service Management, 2007. Camilla commenced the position of Physiotherapy manager in the Hermitage Clinic in June 2007. She is currently CORU registered and a member of the ISCP and an active member of the Private Hospitals Physiotherapy Managers sub-group.
Camilla established the Hermitages Falls taskforce in March 2010 and also completed her certification in Management Essentials with HMI in 2015 with distinction. She is a member of the QIRM committee in the Hermitage Clinic and is actively involved in a number of subgroups within the clinic - patient medical records auditing, patient and family education, patient tracers, departmental physiotherapy chart audits, patient satisfaction surveys. Camilla actively supports CPD staff training in the hospital with involvement in nurse training days and safety awareness days. Camilla also actively promotes CPD physiotherapy training by hosting courses and conferences, with lecturers from the UK, Europe and USA.
