Ms. Roberta Laherty

Roberta is a highly experienced clinical specialist physiotherapist/hand therapist skilled in the assessment and treatment of orthopedic, traumatic, and rheumatological conditions involving the hand, elbow, shoulder, and thorax. 

After qualifying from The University of Liverpool in 2002, Physiotherapy Roberta worked in the NHS Northwest Trauma Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist until 2014. 

During this time Roberta worked across all areas of Physiotherapy before specialising in Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy gaining extensive experience in Consultant-led Triage and Fracture clinics and the assessment and management of Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. 

When Roberta joined Blackrock Clinic as a Senior Hand and Upper Limb Therapist and set up the Hand Therapy service in Blackrock Clinic which has become a thriving service working closely with Consultants and GPs across the country. 

Roberta has completed numerous accredited courses within the Hand and Upper limb speciality completing examinations and certifications under the British Association of Hand Therapy.
